The Controversy Over Tissue-Based (Special) Tests Online Course

The debate rages: tissue-based diagnosis (rotator cuff tear) vs abandon tissue-based diagnosis (rotator cuff-related pain syndrome). Our medical colleagues and those we communicate with use tissue-based diagnosis and yet, the biopsychosocial model typified by discussions of the multi-dimensionality of pain predominate current thought. How are we to proceed? This course provides an answer to that debate, talks about GOOD (good odds on diagnosis) and BAD (baseless assumptions about diagnosis) tests and uses knee and shoulder diagnoses and case studies as examples to illustrate the solution.
