This is an online course led by Dusty Quinn, Specialist Physiotherapist and Bronagh Quinn, Neuro Physiotherapist containing 3 learning modules covering the physiotherapy assessment and management of concussion including the cervical spine, the autonomic system, the oculomotor and vestibular systems.
The course provides the information and skills required for physiotherapists to understand the contributing factors to concussion and recovery through pre-recorded education videos.
It aims to provide physiotherapists with the confidence and skills to undertake a thorough assessment of the cervical spine, the autonomic system, the oculomotor and vestibular systems.

What Will Be Covered?
• The pathology, signs and symptoms of concussion and cervical spine injury
• The assessment of the cervical spine, the vestibular and oculomotor systems, and sensory integration using questionnaires and hands-on techniques
• The management strategies required for a full recovery from concussion and return to work, sport and community participation

Learning Outcomes:
1. Confidence to recognise the signs and symptoms of concussion in both the acute and subacute phase
2. Confidence with the assessment and clinical diagnosis of concussion and cervical spine injury in the clinic or community
3. Confidence to provide education and rehabilitation to clients for their concussion in the community
