The Mulligan Philosophy:
The Mulligan approach helps bridge the gap between manual therapy and exercise. Patients have pain and can’t exercise- what is the pain free way that you can return to them to activity? Mulligan! Learn how to incorporate a bio-psycho-social approach to assessment and treatment, decrease fear avoidance, improve functional outcomes and help empower patients to help themselves. Course format:
- Preparatory module
Online preparatory lecture series will be available commencing April 1, 2024. This self-paced, distance-learning program covers the foundational principles of treatment and clinical reasoning in the Mulligan concept. It consists of 6 hours of audio power point learning.
- Skills laboratory
A 2-day in-class program of the core set of techniques from both Upper and Lower Quadrant Mulligan concept courses will be demonstrated and practiced by course participants during the 2-day program. These will be the most frequently used and best researched techniques from the Mulligan repertoire.
