This two-part course will consist of both on-line pre-course material and a one-day weekend intensive in-person learning session. The course focuses on the management of shoulder pain and will teach you how to screen the shoulder, classify what kind of shoulder pain is affecting your patient and show you how to treat each pain classification category through the Goal Oriented Classification (GOC) process.

• Rehabilitation Strategies for the Shoulder

The one-day in-person learning session will help with the practical application of the GOC. The process of how to use evidenced-based approach to assess a patient with shoulder pain will be demonstrated and practiced. Case studies will be used to help teach how to classify patients according to their treatment goals. Treatment techniques will be demonstrated and practiced to help ensure that you can use these effective, evidenced supported techniques on Monday morning.
